The Materials Science, one of the main building blocks of Mechanical Engineering, enables development of high-tech materials with different functionalities making new applications possible in the field of mechanical engineering. This technological progress results in a necessity of engineers who can understand the needs of the era rapidly and shape the design criteria accordingly.
