Murat Türkan received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Balıkesir University in 2010. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees both in Mechanical Engineering from Pamukkale University in 2013 and 2022, respectively. Research Areas: Numerical Modelling, Light Metal Fatigue, Welded Manufacturing.

Hakkı Eskicioğlu graduated from Mechanical Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University (METU) in 1973. He received M.Sc. degree from the same department in 1975 and Ph.D. from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Machine Tools Division in 1981. He worked as an Assistant Professor between 1982 and 1984 and Associate Professor between 1984 and 1991 in METU. Between 1988 and 1989 he made a research on AI and Expert Systems in Hannover University, IFW as a visiting staff sponsored by Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation. He became Professor in 1991 and worked for METU until he retired. He joined İzmir University of Economics in May 2015. His research interest includes CAD/CAM, Process Planning, Machine Tools, Numerical Control and Cutting Optimization. He has written a book, Numerical Control and Machine Tools (in Turkish) which was published by Chamber of Mechanical Engineers. He has many international and national conference and journal papers.

He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dokuz Eylül University in 2016. He completed his master’s program in Mechanical Engineering at İzmir Katip Çelebi University in 2018 and his Ph.D. in the Mechanics branch in 2025. He has been working as a research assistant at İzmir University of Economics since 2017. His research interests include composite materials, the finite element method, and the ballistic behavior of materials.

After graduating from Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBU) Mechanical Engineering Department in 2008, Dr. Yiğit Erçayhan completed his master's degree in Manisa Celal Bayar University Mechanical Engineering Department in 2010 and his PhD in Manisa Celal Bayar University Mechanical Engineering Department in 2018. In between 2009 and 2011 he worked as a Project Research Assistant at the Manisa Celal Bayar University, Department of Mechanical Engineering within the scope of the TÜBİTAK project and as a Lecturer at the Manisa Celal Bayar University Akhisar Vocational School. In November 2011, he started to work at IZELTAŞ Izmir El Aletleri Inc. as an R&D Engineer at the R&D Center. After a few years Dr. Yiğit ERÇAYHAN worked as the Deputy Manager of the R&D Center in 2013 - 2017 and then the Manager of the R&D Center in 2017 - 2021 at IZELTAS. He carried out more than 100 R&D projects in the R&D Center. As of November 2021, he has been working at Izmir University of Economics, Department of Mechanical Engineering as an Assistant Professor.
