‘Vibrating Smart Wristband’ Wins Regional First Prize
A vibrating smart wristband project developed for visually impaired individuals through the collaboration of the Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Engineering and Izmir Girls High School has won first place in the Izmir regional round of the High School Students Research Projects Competition organized by TUBITAK. The project, titled ‘GORUNGU: A Haptic Wristband for Accessible Chemistry’, was developed in the field of chemistry under the theme of ‘Accessible Life Technologies’.
